Taoist Cultural Arts Association
The Allesley Park, Coventry, Tai Chi class is a part of the Taoist Cultural Arts Association (TCAA) a non profit making organisation whose aim is to promote the Lee Style arts. The TCAA run Tai Chi and Feng Shou classes throughout Coventry, the West Midlands and further afield.
The TCAA offer training in Lee Style Tai Chi, in traditional form passed down from Chee Soo himself, exactly the way it was passed on to him by his teacher not forgetting the generations of Taoists before him.
The Taoist Arts courses the TCAA have to offer include:
- T'ai Chi Ch'uan
- T'ai Chi traditional weapons forms including staff and sword
- Anmo or Taoist energy meridian massage including basic theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine and diagnosis
- Chang Ming or Taoist natural dietary therapy
- Feng Shou Kung Fu
TCAA Benefits & Registration
Following your first Tai Chi class you will be given a TCAA registration form to fill in - this covers you for insurance and is payable yearly (or you can opt to pay for life membership). The cost is £30 yearly or £100 for life. Once you have registered you can attend any of the TCAA Tai Chi / Feng Shou classes.
The TCAA also run weekend Tai Chi courses and increasingly popular week long Easter & Summer courses in Cornwall, aswell as many courses in the other Taoist Arts.
