Lee Style Tai Chi Classes in Coventry
Tai Chi is an ancient Taoist art, often referred to as a moving meditation. It has been used for centuries to maintain health both physically and mentally.
Practising Tai Chi offers many benefits including improved flexibility, health, relaxation and mental focus. All Lee Style Tai Chi exercises use gentle, circular movements, in a relaxed manner, making it suitable for all ages and abilities.

Coventry Tai Chi Classes are held in Allesley Park at:

Thursday evenings from 7.30 - 9pm

Classes are £6 per class (£4 for concessions)

A Typical Tai Chi Class
All of our Tai Chi classes start with a gentle warm up - where we loosen all the joints in the body, followed by a mix of exercises, including:
- K'ai Men (Taoist Yoga) & Tao Yin breathing exercises,
- Partner exercises which help improve sensitivity,
- and two series of movements - the Tai Chi dance and form.

Summer Term Dates
Our Tai Chi classes run until Thursday 22nd July 2010. We then have a break over the school summer holidays and meet back again in September - date to be confirmed.
For those who are interested, the TCAA run an annual T'ai Chi course in Cornwall in the summer- this year it runs from 26th - 20th July, details on the TCAA website.
